Sotogrande, San Roque
The urbanization of Sotogrande is located east of the municipality of San Roque, Cadiz and within short distance of the town of Manilva, Malaga. The normal population of Sotogrande is around 2500 residents, but in summer this number easily reaches 12,000.
Sotogrande is considered a luxury destination with high purchasing power, founded in 1962 by the Philippine Joseph Mc Micking. It began with the construction of the field Real Club de Golf Sotogrande, creation of the famous architect Robert Trent Jones, and then came the first homes and luxury resorts on the land adjacent to the golf course. Over the years the area grew exponentially adding new homes, golf courses and other activities as the creation of the Polo Club or Tennis Hotel Sotogrande, the result of the increasing population in the area.

The Marina
In 1987 came the spectacular Marina Sotogrande, which was exclusively designed to accommodate luxury yachts with a total of 548 berths. Inside the port can find different restaurants and shops according to the lifestyle of the place.
